What is a transfer decal?
A transfer decal is vinyl that's been plotter-cut to the shape of your artwork, the negative space "weeded" away, then covered with a transparent application tape that lets you position the whole graphic in one piece. Peel the backing, press it to the surface, remove the tape — the vinyl stays behind exactly where you placed it.
For events, this means you can put a couple's monogram directly on a dance floor, sponsor logos on venue glass, or an oversized message on a wall — installed in minutes, removed cleanly when the event ends.

Our Economy Vinyl is the budget-friendly default for indoor and short-term outdoor decals. Step up to our Premium White Vinyl for wall, glass, and floor decals that need extra brightness and longer outdoor life. Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver add an upscale foil finish for wedding monograms and premium brand work. Optional matte or gloss lamination adds scratch and UV resistance.

Sizes
Transfer decals print from 4"×4" up to 60"×120" per piece. Larger installations are tiled from multiple panels with registration marks so seams disappear when installed.
Standard range: 4×4" to 60×120". Larger sizes seamed on request.
Finishing options
Every transfer decal is precision cut, weeded, and masked — included in the base price. The vinyl is plotter-cut to your artwork, the negative space is hand-weeded away, and application tape is layered on top so the whole graphic transfers as one piece.

Cut vinyl production is 3–5 business days from proof approval. 48-hour and 24-hour rush options are available — not guaranteed, subject to shop capacity. For simple monograms we can often move faster; ask us at checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Will transfer decals damage the wall or floor when removed?+
Our vinyls are designed to remove cleanly from painted walls, glass, mirrors, and sealed hard floors when removed within a reasonable window (typically under 6 months). Very old paint, unsealed surfaces, or vinyl left up for years may leave adhesive residue.
Are dance floor decals slippery?+
Cut vinyl decals on a sealed dance floor are not slip-rated — for anything covering more than a small monogram area, use a full dance floor wrap instead, which is slip-rated and safer for guests.
How do I install a large transfer decal?+
Every decal ships with application tape and printed instructions. For pieces over about 24" you'll want a second person, a squeegee, and painter's tape to hinge the decal into position before pressing.
Can I install a transfer decal outdoors?+
Yes — our premium white vinyl is rated for outdoor use for 2–5 years depending on sun exposure. For temporary event use, outdoor durability is not a concern.
What file formats work best for cut vinyl?+
Vector artwork (AI, SVG, PDF with vector paths) is strongly preferred — we cut the path directly. High-resolution raster files (PNG, JPG) can work for print-then-cut but produce softer edges than true vector.
